The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul concluded the ASAS training program, implemented in cooperation with Asiacell Telecommunications, as part of a qualitative partnership aimed at developing students’ capabilities, enhancing their professional skills, and preparing them to efficiently integrate into the labor market.

The program was executed under the direction of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Sinan Zuhair Muhammad Jamil, under the direct supervision of the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Salim Khalil Khalid, and with the follow-up of the Head of the Career Development and Placement Unit, Assoc. Prof. Abdullah Hashim Al-Balla, underscoring the college’s commitment to expanding practical training opportunities and aligning academic outcomes with labor market needs.

The program saw the participation of four cohorts of college students, who completed a series of training workshops and practical applications focused on developing professional and personal skills, fostering an institutional work culture, and refining their abilities in line with the rapidly evolving demands of the modern business environment.

This program reflects the college’s vision toward strengthening the applied dimension of the educational process and preparing graduates equipped with the knowledge, expertise, and skills to compete and excel across various sectors.

The Career Development and Placement Unit reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to building strategic partnerships with private sector institutions and leading companies, opening broader horizons for student training and development, strengthening integration between the university and the job market, and contributing to the preparation of national cadres capable of keeping pace with professional transformations and development requirements.
