scientific symposium entitled “Beyond the Boundaries of the Network: Navigating the Spectrum of Computing Models”
Under the patronage of the Honorable President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, and under the supervision of the Honorable Mrs. Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, the respected Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah.
The College of Computer Science and Mathematics held a scientific symposium entitled “Beyond the Boundaries of the Network: Navigating the Spectrum of Computing Models” today, Tuesday, 4/30/2024.
The symposium aims to highlight the importance of high-speed computers and cloud computing in general. The following important points will be addressed:
1- Explaining the most important features of computers in terms of high performance and speed in completing calculations in a way that differs from traditional computers.
2- Installation: The most important types of high-speed computers, infrastructure, and the role of computer networks in building these computers, as well as addressing the security of access to the buildings that contain these computers.
3- Specifications and performance standards
4- The most important fields and applications that are used in these computers
