College of Environmental Sciences

The Department of Environmental Technologies at the College of Environmental Sciences / University of Mosul is considered as one of the modern and rare departments. The department includes in its aspects a link to the environmental technical aspects with different environmental applications. The undergraduate program in the department provides students with a basic understanding of the basics of environmental science, in addition to a broad background in related fields. The department was established in the academic year 2008-2009 . The specialty of the environmental technologies department represents great importance at the present time, as environmental specialization is considered one of the most important specializations in the civilized countries and this specialization has become one of the urgent necessities of the era. The department is concerned with teaching curricula related to environmental technologies and how to preserve it from various pollution factors and proposing effective solutions to the problems that Iraqi environment suffers from.
