With this title, the Administrative Assistant, Dr. Muhammad Hazem Sheet, participated in the intellectual section of the scientific symposium held by the Student Activities Department at the University of Mosul on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, under the title “The Scourge of Extremism: Diagnostic Features and Means of Confrontation… An Academic Perspective.” The symposium was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Taha Hammad Mukhlef, the Scientific Assistant, Professor Dr. Maalem Salem Younis, and a number of faculty members. This symposium comes within the framework of the University of Mosul’s efforts, through its academic specializations, to combat the scourge of extremism and promote a discourse of moderation to create a safe, cohesive society that enjoys stability and reassurance. This symposium aligns with Goal 16 (Peace and Justice) of the Sustainable Development Goals.
