for the Accreditation of the College of Medicine Holds Its First MeetingThe Steering Committee for the Accreditation of the College of Medicine, University of Mosul, held its first meeting electronically via the Zoom program on Friday 20/5/2022 headed by the Dean of the College, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednather Saeed.The meeting began with a welcoming speech from the dean, in which he explained the concept of accreditation and its importance for the college and its students.During this meeting, the committee was looked at the progress of the college’s efforts to obtain national and international accreditation. The duties of the committee and the rest of the committees formed according to the administrative orders issued by the College of Medicine were presented for the purpose of approval.The roadmap submitted by the college to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to obtain accreditation was also presented according to the determined timings. The members of the committee participated in enriching the meeting with constructive opinions and ideas to facilitate the work of the various committees within the program for obtaining accreditation. At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to hold periodic meetings to complete the tasks of the committee in order to obtain the National and International Accreditation.
