The College of Medicine Council held its eighth meeting for the academic year 2021-2022 on Tuesday December 21st 2021.

In the meeting, a master’s degree in pharmacology was awarded to two female pharmacists from Nineveh Health Directorate. A discussion committee for a master’s student in the Department of Biochemistry was also approved. The attendees were also looked at the percentage of completion of theoretical lectures and clinical training (in hospitals) and practical (in laboratories) in the light of which preparations will be made for the semester and mid-year practical exams as well as other issues and points discussed in the session.

The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednather Saeed, in the presence of the Scientific Vice-Dean (Secretary of the Council), Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim and the Administrative Vice-Dean, Assistant Prof Dr Hazim Kh. Al-Allaf in addition to other members of the council.
