College of Medicine

The Deanship of the College of Medicine held a virtual meeting with the students of the fourth stage, on the evening of Friday, 18th March 2022. The meeting was chaired by the Dean, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednather Saeed, and in the presence of the Director of the Registration Division, the Lecturer Dr Ashraf A. Al-Sumaydaei.The meeting discussed various topics of interest to students, the most important of which is the pattern of questions in general exams and the need to pay attention to the English language as it is the official language in lectures, seminars and exams together. It was also reminded that the college system is annual and not quarterly; therefore, the student is required to complete the curriculum in the final exams. With regard to clinical training, its double implications are between the Department of Health and the College of Medicine, where the deanship, on its part, promised to solve any problem or loophole that might appear here or there according to the available capabilities and in specific periods of time. On the other hand, it was announced to the dear students that a good number of educational dolls had been provided as their supplying would greatly facilitate matters especially for the four clinical departments. It was also agreed to determine the Curriculum Clinical Training Curriculum since this part is of great importance and at the same time for the benefit of the student, the concerned department and the college as a whole. For his part, the Registrar of the College stressed the need for students to abide by their groups while attending theoretical lectures so as not to cause confusion or pressure on specific lectures or halls without the other. The Director of the Media and Public Relations Division also attended the meeting.
