Chess Championship of the College of Medicine – Students` Category Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil Mohammadnathir Saeed, and in the presence of the Scientific Vice-Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim, and the Administrative Vice-Dean, Assistant Lecturer Dr Karam T. Tawfiq, the Division of Student Activities held a chess championship of students, on Wednesday, 30th November 2022. In the end, the competition resulted in winning the student Ahmed Azhar, from the fourth stage, of the first place, leaving the second place to his colleague Yasser Muhammad from the second stage. Meanwhile, a match of winning the third-place witnessed the superiority of the student Abdul Razzaq Khaled from the sixth stage. The championship was attended by a large number of college affiliates and students who were crowded with the championship hall. Congratulations to the winners and better luck to all the participants.
