A Joint Meeting with the French Development Agency to Support Research Centers
A joint meeting was held on Monday, 4th July 2022 at the headquarters of University of Mosul Council to discuss with the French Agency for Development the grant provided by it to support medical research centres. The meeting was attended by the Scientific Vice-President of University of Mosul, Prof Dr Munir S. Taha, as well as the council of directors of research centres headed by Prof Dr Basil Mohammednathir Saeed. In addition to the advisors of the head of the administrative and legal counsel, and heads of the legal, construction and projects departments at the university. The Department of Health was represented by its General Director Dr Falah Al-Taei, and the Director of the Planning Department in the Department of Health. The meeting included delegations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Health. The attendees discussed ways to benefit from the grant, set priorities for the centre’s service, and set a timetable for future work. On the side-lines of the meeting, it was discussed the imminent set free of the funds allocated to research centres from Nineveh Governorate and how to make the best use of grants.
