A Number of Academic Staff from the Department of Medicine Take part in Two International Medical Conferences on Cardiology and Oncology
A number of academic staff of the Department of Medicine took part in two international medical conferences that were held recently. Assistant Prof Dr Arwa M. Al-Sarraf and Lecturer Dr Salam Farid attended the twelfth conference of the Emirates Heart Association in cooperation with the American Heart Association, which was held in Dubai for the period 7th -9th October 2021.The rapporteur of the Department of Medicine, Assistant Prof Dr Alia A. Najm, is also attended the New Conference in Oncology which was held in Erbil for the period 4th -5th November 2021.
Both conferences dealt with the latest international scientific and medical developments in the aforementioned fields by dozens of Iraqi, Arab, and foreign researchers and specialists. The presence of the academic staff of the college in such scientific forums is to enhance the scientific balance and keep pace with the development of medical sciences in the world as a whole.
