College of Medicine

Professor Dr. Basil Saeed chaired the eleventh meeting of the College of Medicine Council for the academic year 2023-2024 on Sunday, February 25, 2024. The meeting was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Humam Ghanem Zubeer, Vice-Dean for Scientific Affairs (Secretary of the Council), Vice-Dean for Administrative Affairs, Karam Turath Tawfeeq Agha, and the rest of the council members (heads of scientific departments). During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:

1- Scientific promotions

-The University of Mosul / Division of Academic Promotions Affairs letter, including generalizations.

2- Postgraduate studies issues

Granting a master’s degree

3-Student affairs issues

-postponing an academic year/2

-Al-Nahrain University/College of Medicine letter containing the comprehensive evaluation exams.

4-Miscellaneous

-Distribution of the top twenty for the academic year 2022-2023

-Nomination of the Head of the Department of Medicine

-Evaluation of the Department of Biochemistry and Anatomy lecturers.
