College of Medicine

Under the patronage and presence of the President of University of Nineveh, Prof Dr Osama I. Al-Mashhadani, and in the presence of a number of members of councils of universities of Mosul and Nineveh, the University of Nineveh held its own celebration on the occasion of the Arabic Language Day on Thursday,23rd December 2021. Dozens of the teaching staff of the two mentioned universities attended, including the Vices-Dean for Scientific and Administrative for the College of Medicine, University of Mosul, Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim and Assistant Prof Dr Hazim Kh. Al-Allaf, who were accompanied by the Head of the Media and Public Relations Division.

The celebration began with the Holy Qur’an, with the speech of the President of Nineveh University, then words and poems that dealt with the exploits of the Arabic language through the ages delivered by a number of poets and writers of the city of Mosul.
