Discussing the Research of the Iraqi Board (Mosul Centre) in Paediatrics on Paediatric Patients with Covid 19 in Nineveh Governorate

The student of the graduation thesis of the Iraqi Board (Mosul Center) in Paediatrics, Yasser M. Ajaweed, discussed paediatric patients with Covid 19 in Nineveh Governorate to know the clinical symptoms and results of laboratory and radiological tests for the emerging virus on Wednesday, 9th February 2022.

The research found that most cases are either asymptomatic or with mild symptoms, and that male children are more affected by the disease than females, and that high body temperature is the most common symptom among patients.

The discussion committee consisted of Prof Dr Rikan S. Jumaa (chairman), Assistant Prof Dr Nada A. Ahmed (member), Assistant Prof Dr Aws H. Al-Nuaman (member), and Assistant Prof Dr Rabiea M. Al-Dabouni (member and supervisor).

The discussion was attended by some heads and teaching staff of various scientific departments and a number of postgraduate students.

After the discussion, the committee’s decision was read include accepting the research with the necessary amendments being made.
