Master’s thesis in the Department of Physiology discussed “the relationship between thyroid hormones and milk hormone in women with impaired fertility” submitted by student Safa’ M. Omar on Tuesday, December 29th 2020. The thesis aimed to assess the level of milk hormone and thyroid hormones in women with primary and secondary impaired fertility. The study concluded that there is an increase in the level of prolactin with an increase in the level of the thyroid stimulating hormone. The discussion committee consisted of Prof Dr Jawad A. Salih (Chair), Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim (Member), Assistant Prof Dr Afra’ M. Al-Amin (Member), and Lecturer Dr Rajaa A. Younis (Member and Supervisor). After the discussion, the committee’s decision was read included accepting the thesis with the necessary amendments, and granting the student a master’s degree.
