The Council of the College of Medicine Approves Designs of Classrooms to Be Built near the New College Site
The College of Medicine has approved designs for new classrooms. This came during the seventh meeting of the Council which was held on Monday 7th December 2021. The meeting decided that the location of these halls should be near the new site of the college.
In the matter of scientific promotions, the council recommended transferring the file of promotion one of academic staff in the
Department of Anatomy from the rank of lecturer to the rank of assistant professor. In another context, it was recommended to abolish the previous medical advisory office. Some scientific researches were also recorded for a number of teaching staff of different scientific departments as well as other issues and points that were subjected and discussed in the session.
The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednather Saeed, in the presence of the Scientific Vice-Dean (Secretary of the Council), Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim in addition to the other members of the council.
