The Division of Quality Assurance Holds its Virtual Training Course on Electronic Archiving of Evaluation Documents
The Performance Evaluation Unit, Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division, College of Medicine, University of Mosul held its training course titled “How to Archive Documents of Evaluation Files Electronically” on Tuesday and Wednesday, 7th -8th December 2021.
The course, presented by the Unit Officer, Assistant Prof Ruqaya Z. Sha’ban, aimed to explain the archiving of documents such as attaching assignment books, describing the research course, holding and attending seminars, conferences and workshops as well as thank you letters, committees and other activities. It was also indicated how to use programs or methods to convert files from certain formats to different other formats.
The first day included an explanation the controls and instructions of the evaluation files and presenting the guid that is used for evaluation. Types of evaluation forms were presented focusing on some important observations and emphasizing the adherence to the ministry’s timings. While on the second day, the steps of collecting documents and evaluation priorities electronically, and organizing them in folders, with how to convert them to various file formats in order to finally assemble them into a single file type pdf, were explained, then an explanation of the pdfShaper program as one of the useful programs in this field.
The course was held virtually under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednather Saeed., and in the presence of the Vice-Dean, Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim, and Administrative Vice-Dean, Assistant Prof Dr Hazim Kh. Al-Allaf, and within the continuing education program. The course was attended by dozens of academic staff of the college and from various colleges and universities.
