The Head of the Department of Pharmacology Chairs the Discussion Committee for a Master’s Thesis in the College of Dentistry at University of Mosul

At the College of Dentistry, University of Mosul, a master’s thesis titled “The Anti-Inflammatory Effect of Cinnamon Nanogels on Gingivitis Patients” was discussed at the College of Dentistry, University of Mosul, presented by Zahra M. Salih on Monday15th March 2021. The discussion committee is chaired by the Head of the Department of Pharmacology, College of Medicine, Prof Dr Imad A. Thanoun.

The thesis dealt with the anti-inflammatory effect of a Nano cinnamon gel in patients with chronic gingivitis problems.

It concluded that the Nano cinnamon gel has anti-inflammatory effects on the gums and can be an effective adjunct to treat gingivitis with no side effects to the treated patients.
