College of Medicine

In the presence of the Scientific Vice-Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim, the Society of Otolaryngologists, Nineveh Branch, held its monthly scientific meeting on Friday, 28th January 2022.

The scientific session was chaired by the Chief of Nineveh Physicians’ Syndicate, the consulting doctor, Dr Muhammad S. Al-Huri, and with a coordinating from the Department of Surgery, Assistant Prof Dr Haitham A. Al-Nouri. It consisted of two lectures that discussed how to deal with patients with benign vestibular positional vertigo and the importance of nevopam in the treatment of pain. After that, itwas allowed the attendees to ask questions, interpositions and discussions.

The meeting was attended by the President of the Society (from the Department of Surgery), Prof Dr Ali A. Muhammad, a good number of specialized doctors from Nineveh Health Department, and some postgraduate students.
