The visit of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof Dr Qusai K. Al-Ahmadi, and the scientific and administrative vice-presidents, to the College of Medicine, accompanied by the Chairman of the Parliamentary Education Committee, Prof Dr Muzahim Al-Khayyat, accompanied by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednathir Saeed, and the scientific and administrative vice-deans today, Monday, January 2, 2023.The university delegation inspected the halls and laboratories of the College of Medicine. The President of the Parliamentary Committee and the President of the University met a number of college students. Prof Dr Muzahim Al-Khayyat praised the efforts of the president of the University of Mosul, the main and permanent supporter of the development of the College of Medicine in various academic and scientific fields. In addition to the following up on the infrastructure to serve the college’s march and its relentless pursuit of its deanship to obtain national accreditation. And the restoration of the College of Medicine for its central and basic role in higher education.The president of the parliamentary committee and the president of the University held a meeting with the dean of the College of Medicine and the committee concerned with accreditation in it.They discussed all the developments taking place in the fields of education, curricula, and the provision of administrative and scientific requirements in relation to the national and international accreditation program. The College of Medicine, with the intensified efforts of its dean and its teaching staff, has made great strides in this regard.
