The player of the College of Pharmacy, Mohammed Omar Ibrahim, achieved a brilliant victory over the player of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences (the first predicted candidate to win the championship title) to set a well-deserved date with the semi-final versus the player of the College of Basic Education.
The match was held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, in the closed stadium of the Student Activities Department. The first set of the match resulted in advancing the player of the College of Physical Education with a score of 4-2, then our player ended the second set in his favour with the same result. The intelligence and focusing turned things around in his favour, so that our player could well deservedly settle the result of the third set with 11-9 points.
After reaching the semi-finals of the Mosul University Championship, Muhammad Omar became the first player in the history of the College of Pharmacy to reach this stage.
