The scientific symposium of the Pharmaceutical Chemistry branch at the College of PharmacyUnder the patronage of the head of the University of Mosul, Prof. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, and supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assist. PROF. Zeina Abdel Moneim Abdel Majeed, the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department at the College of Pharmacy held a virtual symposium via electronic PLATFORM Google Meet on ” The new insights into cancer treatment using pharmaceutical chemistry Techniques” on Thursday 12/11/2020. The lecturers at the symposium presented a series of researches on the latest developments in manufacturing and testing of pharmaceutical preparations, as well as the novel and innovative methods of evaluating the effectiveness of drugs for optimal use in cancer treatment. The symposium witnessed the attendance of a large number of staff and pistgrad students of the College of Pharmacy and the University of Mosul, and the symposium concluded the importance of the role of pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry in enriching the treatment of diseases, especially cancerous diseases, as it is the corner stone in the manufacture and innovation of all medicines.
