Assistant Professor Dr. Tareq Mohammed Tayeb Dhaher, Dean of the College of Political Science, attended the conference on Migration Management in Iraq: A Dialogue on Challenges and Opportunities. The conference aimed to address the complex dynamics of migration management and governance through a comprehensive approach involving the government and the entire community within and outside Iraq. Key outcomes of the conference included:

1. Understanding the achievements of the Global Compact for Migration and the challenges Iraq faces in managing migration issues.
2. Enhancing cooperation among relevant ministries and governmental and non-governmental stakeholders in Iraq.
3. Identifying potential areas for further collaboration with international stakeholders to support migration management in Iraq.
