The Qatari newspaper *Al-Sharq* and the Iraqi newspaper *Al-Mada* publish an important article by Dr. Laith Muzahim Khudair a lecturer at the College of Political Science
In its issue number 13205 published on Tuesday 3 September 2024, *Al-Sharq* newspaper in Qatar and in its issue number 5742 published on Wednesday 4 September 2024, *Al-Mada* newspaper in Iraq published an important article by Dr. Laith Muzahim Khudair, a lecturer in the Department of Public Policy at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul. The article is titled: **”Kursk Between Two Battles: 1943 – 2024.”**
The article addresses the paradox of *Kursk* as a potential turning point in the nature and shape of the escalating conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
