The Department of International Relations at the College of Political Science University of Mosul held an educational workshop for students on combating extremist thought

The workshop, organized by the Advisory Committee of the Department of International Relations on Tuesday, 5 November 2024, addressed the topics of preventing radical behavior and combating extremist ideologies.

The workshop targeted students, aiming to highlight the role of university students in building a society free from extremism by evoking painful memories of crimes such as those committed in Speicher, Khasfa, Sinjar, and others.

Sponsored by the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Deen Al-Ahmadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Tareq Mohammad Tayeb Thaher, the workshop consisted of four lectures. It was attended by several faculty members and students from the college and was held in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit.
