The College of Political Science, University of Mosul, Observes Mosul’s Compliance with the Curfew During the General Census of Population and Housing

The media and government communication division at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, captured the city’s adherence to the curfew on the evening of Wednesday, 20 November 2024. Iraq is conducting a nationwide general population census on this date and the following day, marking the first census in over 25 years.

The streets appeared empty of pedestrians and vehicles, except for some emergency and humanitarian cases. Shops and markets also closed their doors in support of the census’s success, which is considered one of the most critical pillars of developmental, economic, and social planning for any nation.

May God protect Iraq and its people, and may success be granted by His will.
