The Career Development and Employment Unit at the College of Political Science University of Mosul held a workshop titled: “Integrity, Accountability, and Transparency as Components of Democracy in Iraq” on Tuesday, 3 December 2024.

The workshop concluded that there is a significant relationship between the principles of accountability and transparency and the success of democracy. One of the key components of building a modern state is the existence of institutions and specific laws related to transparency, aimed at producing a fair democracy.

The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Dr. Ali Bashar Bakr and Assistant Lecturer Dr. Kawther Hassan Ghazi, and was attended by a group of undergraduate students and some college graduates.

The event was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College and in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit.
