A Group of Female Students from the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Participate in the Training Course for the “We Are Peace” Project

The Center for Peacebuilding and Coexistence at the University of Mosul organized its training course for the “We Are Peace” project during November and December 2024.
The course addressed topics such as preventing violent extremism, effective communication techniques, and their role in peacebuilding and promoting societal harmony. The program also included workshops aimed at enhancing participants’ abilities to design and implement community initiatives focused on raising awareness, fostering social peace, and rejecting violence.
From the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul, the students Sweidlana Korkis, Dalal Alaa Al-Din, and Rania Fareed participated in the first group, which was held from 24-26 November 2024. Meanwhile, students Israa Saeed and Faiza Al-Mashhadani took part in the second group, held from 1-3 December 2024.
These courses represent the first phase of the “We Are Peace” project, implemented in collaboration with Al-Noor University.
