Strategic Report (Collaborative Work) by the Faculty Member of the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Marwan Salem Ali, Documents the Reality of Iraq in 2023: A Comprehensive Analytical Vision

A new strategic report has been issued by Assistant Professor Dr. Marwan Salem Ali, a faculty member in the Department of International Relations at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul. The report, titled “Iraq in 2023”, was published in January 2025.

With its ten sections, the report serves as a national effort and a comprehensive study documenting Iraq’s most significant events. It covers a range of issues over the course of an entire year, addressing various political, economic, social, security, educational, and developmental aspects, as well as Iraq’s foreign relations—both regional and international. The report highlights both achievements and shortcomings by analyzing institutional programs, their impact on reality, and the differing perspectives surrounding them. Consequently, it provides a focused assessment of institutional performance based on an objective and impartial vision.

The report was published by the Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD) in Najaf, in collaboration with a distinguished group of academics from various Iraqi universities.
