Professor Dr. Adnan Khalaf Hamid, a faculty member in the Department of International Relations and a member of the College Council at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, participated in the meeting of the Political Science Quality Improvement Council, which was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on Monday, 10 February 2025.

The meeting discussed the topic of updating curricula to align with academic and professional developments, as well as enhancing academic accreditation standards in accordance with international criteria.

The attendees reached agreements on mechanisms to improve the efficiency of faculty members and students by adopting modern teaching methods that emphasize scientific research, academic interaction, and encouraging partnerships with international organizations and specialized think tanks. These efforts aim to exchange expertise and elevate the overall academic level.

The meeting concluded with the election of Professor Dr. Muntaser Majid Hamid as Chairman of the Council and Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Hamid as Vice Chairman.
