Faculty Member at the College of Political Science – University of Mosul Completes Her Ph.D. Dissertation at Al-Nahrain University on Climate Challenges and Adaptation Dilemmas – College Administration Extends Congratulations

The lecturer Maha Ahmed Ibrahim, faculty member of the Department of International Relations at the College of Political Science – University of Mosul, has successfully defended her Ph.D. dissertation at Al-Nahrain University on “Climate Challenges, Adaptation Dilemmas, and Justice Between Developing and Developed Countries”, on Wednesday, 21 May 2025.

The dissertation aimed to analyze the environmental gap between the Global North and South, highlight the issues of climate justice amid economic and technological disparities, review the adaptation strategies adopted by various countries to confront climate change, and discuss the frameworks for international cooperation in this context.

On this occasion, the Deanery and staff of the College of Political Science, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Sohaib Khalid Jasem Al-Taie, Dean of the College, extend their heartfelt congratulations and appreciation for this distinguished academic achievement, wishing her and all faculty members continued excellence and success in scientific, research, and academic endeavors, God willing.
