The Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Visits the College of Fine Arts
In line with the Sustainable Development Goals—Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals—the Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Sohaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie, paid a visit to the College of Fine Arts on Monday, 11 August 2025. He was received by the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Hamid Ibrahim Al-Rashidi.
The visit aimed to strengthen academic and cultural cooperation between the two sides through the exchange of academic and artistic expertise. Discussions also addressed the possibility of organizing joint programs and activities that combine artistic creativity and political studies in service of societal issues—particularly promoting a culture of peace, reinforcing national identity, and exploring ways to employ both art and politics as vital tools for community and human communication in general.
