The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Attends a Meeting at the University Presidency on the Mechanism of Registering New Students for the Academic Year 2025–2026

In realization of the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal Four: Quality Education, Goal Sixteen: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and Goal Seventeen: Partnerships for the Goals; the Scientific Assistant of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim Jasim, chaired a meeting with college registration officials on Tuesday, 9 September 2025. The meeting was attended by the Director of Student Affairs and Registration, along with heads of relevant divisions and units.

Representing the College of Political Science were Dr. Omar Hashem Thanoon, Head of the Registration Division, and Nebras Mohammed Jameel, Assistant Chief Translator.

The attendees discussed the main procedures related to the registration process and responded to the colleges’ inquiries. Emphasis was placed on the need to adhere to the Student Guide and the applicable ministerial instructions in order to overcome obstacles to the registration of new students. In addition, the meeting addressed the affairs of continuing students, as well as updates concerning registration details, mechanisms, and related procedures.
