The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul organizes and hosts a developmental workshop for postgraduate students on how to prepare theses and dissertations at the university level

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals; the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul organized and hosted the developmental workshop titled “How to Prepare University Theses and Dissertations” for master’s and doctoral students at the university level, on Monday, 29 September 2025. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Younis Muaid Al-Dabbagh, Assistant Professor in the Department of International Relations.

The workshop (which is part of a series of university workshops) aimed at developing the research-year postgraduate students’ skills, particularly in formulating a research title, defining the research problem and its objectives, establishing hypotheses and research questions, as well as enhancing their capabilities in preparing the theoretical and methodological framework, employing data collection and analysis tools, scientific documentation methods, and organizing the thesis or dissertation in accordance with recognized academic standards.

The workshop was held within the framework of the Ministry’s plans in this regard, under the guidance of the University Presidency, and in coordination with the deanships of the colleges.
