The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Signs a Cooperation Mechanism with Its Counterpart at Al-Noor University

In alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals—Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals—the Colleges of Political Science, and Law and Political Science at the Universities of Mosul and Al-Noor signed a cooperation mechanism on Wednesday, 12 November 2025. The two parties were represented by the Deans of the respective colleges: Assistant Professor Dr. Sohaib Khalid Jassim Al-Tai (University of Mosul) and Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Mustafa Ali (Al-Noor University).

The cooperation mechanism aims to elevate the standing of both colleges to the level of renowned institutions, strengthen mutual collaboration, and open new avenues in academic fields, particularly in enhancing scientific, research, and knowledge capacities.

The mechanism includes several key areas such as teaching, scientific research, student activities, administration, functional development, financial affairs, and more. It is set for a renewable term of three years. The signing ceremony was attended by members of the councils of both participating colleges.
