Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie, Dean of the College of Political Science at University of Mosul, received Mr. Farhan Ahmed Al-Mamari, Director of the Nineveh Elections Office of the Independent High Electoral Commission, along with his accompanying delegation at the College Deanship on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of joint cooperation between the College of Political Science and the Commission in Nineveh, as well as the exchange of academic and practical expertise in a manner that enhances political stability and political participation in the governorate.

At the conclusion of his visit, Al-Mamari presented the Commission’s shield to the Dean of the College in appreciation of his support in enriching the Commission’s library with publications, theses, and academic research addressing topics related to elections and political participation.

He also awarded certificates of appreciation to Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Yassin, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Khairallah Sabhan, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, in recognition of their continuous support for the Nineveh Elections Office and their constructive contributions to strengthening the democratic process and promoting the principles of transparency and joint cooperation in Nineveh.
