Under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie, Dean of the College of Political Science, and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, a workshop entitled “Celebrating the International Day for the Prevention of Violent Extremism” will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the College’s Conference and Discussion Hall.

The workshop will feature the presentation of two research papers: the first, “Violent Extremism and Its Impact on Political Stability”, presented by Lecturer Dr. Kawthar Hassan Ghazi, and the second, “Violent Actors and Their Impact on Iraqi National Security”, presented by Lecturer Dr. Rasha Suhail Mohammed.
