Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, Rector of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie, Dean of the College of Political Science, and in cooperation with the General Directorate of Education in Nineveh Governorate, the College of Political Science held its scientific seminar entitled “Scientific Promotions: A Step Towards Comprehensive Academic Reform and Knowledge Quality” on the morning of Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jalili Hall at the University of Mosul.

The importance of this seminar lies in its alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals and their related targets, particularly:
