Under the auspices of Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie, Dean of the College of Political Science, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division is holding its First Counseling Conference, in collaboration with the Presidency of the University of Mosul (University Counseling Department) and the Continuing Education Unit. The conference, entitled “Psychological Counseling and its Role in Promoting the Values of Social Coexistence: Toward Safe and Stable Societies,” is scheduled for the morning of Monday, April 6, 2026, at the Discussions and Conferences Hall, College of Basic Education.

This conference is of great significance as it aligns with the pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), notably Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
