Under the supervision of the respected Associate Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie, Dean of the College of Political Science, the University Psychological Counseling Division at our college held a guidance course titled: “The Phenomenon of Smoking and its Effects on the Individual and Society,” on Sunday, April 19, 2026, in the undergraduate lecture halls. Lecturer Dr. Mohammed Zuhair Abdul-Karim and Assistant Lecturer Wassim Mowaffaq Hayawi participated in the course. The significance of this course lies in its response to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly (Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities).
