Under the supervision of the respected Associate Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie, Dean of the College of Political Science, a delegation of faculty members and students from our college visited the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) / Nineveh Office on Sunday morning, May 3, 2026. During the visit, the students were introduced to the operational mechanisms of the Independent High Electoral Commission and the procedures adopted in organizing and managing electoral processes. The visit included explanations of electoral work and the most critical steps followed—from the biometric update to the final election results—as well as the primary challenges and methods of resolution. This visit comes within the framework of responding to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly (Goal 4: Quality Education).
