Under the supervision of the respected Associate Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie, Dean of the College of Political Science, and in the presence of the respected Associate Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Yassin, Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, the Continuing Education Unit at our college, in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit at the University of Mosul Presidency and the Iraqi Association for Political Science / Nineveh Branch, organized a scientific workshop titled: “The Scientific Foundations of Citation in Political Science According to the APA Style (6th Edition).”

The workshop was held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, in the Conferences and Defense Hall at our college. The lectures were delivered by Professor Dr. Ziad Samir Zaki and Assistant Lecturer Ghufran Younis Hussein.

The significance of this workshop lies in its response to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
