In implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, Professor Dr. Salah Al-Din Salim Mohammed, a faculty member in the Public Policy Branch at the University of Mosul College of Political Science, participated as a member of the doctoral dissertation defense committee for the student Ibrahim Mohammed Younis at the College of Arts, University of Mosul. The dissertation was entitled: “Abu Zayd Al-Ansari’s Narrations in the Books of Gharib Al-Hadith up to the Fourth Hijri Century: Collection, Documentation, and Study.”

The dissertation examined the narrations of Abu Zayd Al-Ansari contained in the books of Gharib Al-Hadith up to the fourth Hijri century by collecting, documenting, and studying these narrations, identifying their sources and chains of transmission, and analyzing the linguistic and semantic issues they contain. The study contributes to highlighting the scholarly contributions of Abu Zayd Al-Ansari and the significance of his narrations in advancing linguistic and Hadith studies.

Following the defense, the committee’s decision to accept the dissertation and award the student a doctoral degree was read.
