Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Attends the Ministry of Planning’s Discussion Workshop on Implementing the Training Impact Assessment Phase for Iraqi University Leaders

In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals, SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and in cooperation with the Studies and Planning Department/ Sustainable Development Unit (at the Presidency of the University of Mosul), the National Center for Administrative Development of the Ministry of Planning held a discussion workshop with university leaders on Thursday, 2 August 2026. The workshop was attended by the University President, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and members of the University Council, including the Dean of the College of Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie.
The workshop discussed the implementation of the training impact assessment phase of the “Iraqi University Leaders towards Excellence and Sustainability 2030” program. It also examined the extent to which participants applied the acquired skills to improve the work environment and translate knowledge into tangible outcomes.
The workshop featured an exchange of views and experiences on transforming training outcomes into measurable practices and institutional initiatives, thereby enhancing the quality of academic and administrative work and supporting excellence and sustainability in higher education institutions.
