In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals—Goal 4: Quality Education; Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure; and Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions—and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning/Sustainable Development Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Tariq Mohammed Dhanoon, a faculty member in the International Relations Branch of the College of Political Science, completed eight accredited online ministerial training courses organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research through the Eduba platform. He was awarded certificates of completion after fulfilling the course requirements and successfully passing the assessment tests.

 The courses addressed several important academic and research topics, including notes on writing and publishing a review paper; how to write a paper from a reviewer’s perspective; the training course “How to Become a Peer Reviewer”; the concept of the h-index and ways to increase it; reputable journals; “Discover Knowledge That Makes a Difference: Smart and Advanced Searching on the Web of Science Platform”; exploring the Clarivate tools and services available to Iraqi researchers; as well as selecting the appropriate journal and verifying its credibility. These courses contribute to enhancing scientific research skills, improving the quality of academic output, and keeping pace with developments in scientific publishing and academic advancement.

 This participation falls within the framework of continuous professional development and engagement in the high-quality training programs provided by the Ministry. It enhances scientific and research competencies, promotes a culture of lifelong learning, and contributes to improving academic performance and fulfilling the requirements of institutional excellence.
