In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit at the University of Mosul Presidency, the Deanship of the College of Political Science held a qualitative meeting targeting the administrative staff on Monday, 12 October 2026.

The meeting discussed monitoring the progress of various committees and assessing the completion of their assigned tasks, emphasizing the importance of attending and actively participating in the workshops and events organized by the College. It also addressed the monitoring of electronic systems to ensure their efficient performance and the enhancement of technical and administrative cooperation among the various divisions and units, thereby promoting smooth workflow and coordinated efforts.

Furthermore, the meeting stressed the need to preserve furniture, equipment, and devices and protect them from misuse, rationalize stationery consumption, and maintain the cleanliness of offices and rooms belonging to the College’s divisions and units. It also underscored the importance of fostering a unified team spirit, promoting cooperation and integration, and overcoming administrative barriers to strengthen the institutional work environment and improve professional performance.

The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jasim Al-Ta’i, and attended by the Scientific and Administrative Deputy Deans, Assistant Professor Dr. Younis Muayyad Younis and Professor Dr. Marwan Salim Ali, respectively.
