Public Policy Branch
The branch is concerned with teaching political subjects related to ancient, medieval, modern, and contemporary political thought, as well as courses on political systems and all that pertains to the internal structure of the state and its relations with different segments of society.
Vision, Mission, and Objectives of the Public Policy Branch
Vision:
The Public Policy Branch aspires to advance the academic level of its faculty members, provide a suitable teaching environment along with the necessary resources, and achieve strong engagement with society in all scientific, intellectual, and humanitarian dimensions.
Mission:
The Public Policy Branch focuses on studying general concepts in order to provide state institutions across various sectors with qualified and competent cadres capable of assuming responsibility. These cadres will be equipped with scientific and political skills enabling them to hold positions in the diplomatic corps, international organizations, provincial councils, parliament membership, and serve as experts in political consultancy.
Objectives:

Enhancing the scientific level of the branch’s faculty through participation in various training programs and exposure to modern teaching methods in Arab and international universities.

Advancing scientific research methods in the field of public policy.

Helping students stay informed about different political developments through all available means.

Strengthening the relationship between students and faculty through the Academic Advising Unit.

Encouraging students to participate in scientific research and supporting their participation in scientific conferences.

Developing the cultural and scientific level of college students by hosting specialized lecturers in various scientific and humanitarian fields.
