**Vision**
To be a central hub for the creation and application of knowledge in strategic fields, aimed at developing advanced solutions for local, regional, and international challenges. This will be achieved by fostering academic excellence, deepening political knowledge and awareness on issues of local, regional, and international significance, both in theory and practice. The goal is to prepare specialists by implementing rigorous scientific curricula that enable students to reach a comprehensive understanding, enhance their intellectual and academic growth, and develop their skills. Additionally, the College aims to serve and advance the community and its governmental and civil institutions by promoting a culture of democracy, human rights, and public freedoms. It seeks to engage with issues and innovations, utilizing modern technology to achieve sustainable excellence and establishing strong connections with various institutions.

**Mission**
To prepare specialists in political science who can enhance political culture and analytical abilities across multiple levels. The program emphasizes the ability to manage state affairs at local, national, and international levels and connects theoretical study with real political events and data. The College strives to be a leader in conducting field research and studies, applying them practically, and disseminating knowledge to serve and develop society. This includes building a network of integrated relationships with academic and professional regional and international institutions, ensuring curriculum alignment, and enhancing educational skills for building and developing human capital.

**Objectives**
1. Realize the vision, mission, and goals of the University of Mosul by applying best educational practices with a focus on quality assurance and performance enhancement.
2. Prepare specialized graduates capable of serving the community and anticipating future specializations.
3. Develop students’ research capabilities in political studies by enhancing their ability to use academic sources, fostering analytical and future-oriented thinking, and increasing their capacity to understand and analyze international political events, as well as principles and mechanisms of international relations and diplomacy.
4. Cultivate analytical, creative thinking, and strategic planning abilities in students, ensuring they are highly knowledgeable in political science, in line with the responsibilities they will encounter in their professional careers.
5. Train specialists capable of serving the community and preparing for future specializations.
6. Equip graduates with skills suitable for careers in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, universities, international and regional organizations, and other public and civil society institutions.
7. Provide the community with the expertise of the College’s faculty in organizing courses, delivering lectures, conducting research, and offering political advice and recommendations to relevant state ministries and departments, as well as to international and regional organizations and civil society institutions.
8. Continually enhance continuing education programs in political science to improve the skills and leadership abilities of state employees and civil society activists.
9. Adopt and develop academic quality and accreditation standards to reach high performance levels, enabling the College to gain academic accreditation through curriculum and research program development, attracting qualified personnel, and strengthening cultural and scientific ties with reputable Arab, regional, and international universities and research centers. This includes establishing fruitful partnerships and improving administrative and financial achievements to provide optimal services.
10. Develop or modify political science curricula to align with the needs of the public and private labor markets, ensuring the employability of the College’s graduates.
11. Emphasize ethical and educational values, fostering dedication, tolerance, and commitment among students.
