Publishing a new book

The Rafidain Center for Dialogue published a scientific book by Assistant Professor Dr. Marwan Salim Ali titled “Evaluation of the Iraqi Government’s Work during the Entire Year 2022-2023,” in collaboration with a group of professors from Iraqi universities. The researcher noted a significant development in Iraq’s foreign policy in 2022, witnessing progress in regional and international relations. Iraq successfully hosted several regional and international summits, including playing a mediating role between Saudi Arabia and Iran, bringing them together in Baghdad.

The book emphasizes the importance of the success of Iraq’s foreign policy in adopting a new strategic vision based on effective policies in both the regional and international environments. It highlights the need to avoid alignment with regional axis policies, resolve issues with neighboring and regional countries, and adopt a realistic vision of the distribution of international power centers. Additionally, it stresses maintaining the security alliance with the United States and building strategic partnerships with major international powers, such as Russia and European powers, in addition to active Asian powers, fostering cooperation in various fields.
