The College of Political Science organizes a scientific seminar titled “(Nineveh Governorate Council: Reality and Challenges)”
Under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Tariq Mohammed Tayeb Zaher, the Dean of the College of Political Science, the Public Policy Department in our college, in collaboration with the College of Law and the Iraqi Association for Political Science in Nineveh, organized a scientific seminar titled “(Nineveh Governorate Council: Reality and Challenges)” on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. The seminar began with a speech by Dr. Tariq Al-Qassar, the Dean of the College of Political Science, who welcomed the guests and the distinguished audience, praising the role of the Iraqi Association for Political Science in Nineveh. He commended the association’s efforts to interact and engage with government agencies, civil society organizations, and its commitment to achieving its societal goal of political awareness. The seminar hosted several members of the Nineveh Governorate Council, along with researchers, academics, students, and individuals interested in political and legal affairs. The Dean emphasized the role and importance of academic institutions in presenting public policy papers and participating in shaping and planning public policy goals. The audience actively engaged by posing questions and inquiries related to the seminar’s topic. This event is part of the college’s series of scientific, cultural, and student activities for the academic year 2023-2024.
