Assistant Lecturer Rasha Suhail Mohammed a faculty member in the International Relations Department at the College of Political Science University of Mosul has published a rigorous joint scientific research paper on artificial intelligence and its implications for state sovereignty in an international scientific journal based in the United Kingdom

Her research, titled “Artificial Intelligence Technology and Its Implications for National State Sovereignty,” was published in May 2024 in the *International Journal of Educational Sciences and Arts*, a peer-reviewed journal based in London, United Kingdom.

The research explores the impact of artificial intelligence technology as a tool of techno-informational transformation, which has affected contemporary power dynamics and their influence on the narratives of power, security, wars, and modern conflicts. The study aims to examine the strategic role of this technology, which has become one of the tactical and technical strategies used by both official and non-official actors.

The research concludes that this technology is capable of breaching state sovereignty through its modern means.

The paper is a joint work with Professor Dr. Riyadh Mahdi Abdul-Kadhim Al-Zubaidi from the College of Political Science, Al-Nahrain University. It is noteworthy that the researcher, Assistant Lecturer Rasha Suhail Mohammed, successfully completed and defended her Ph.D. dissertation at Al-Nahrain University on July 23, 2024.
